π§ How to read this (general gap tactics)
Large gap-up
Gaps that hold through the first 30-minute consolidation tend to mark trend days; gaps that fade immediately often fill. Confirm with regular-hours volume before acting.
Small gap, no catalyst
Most small gaps mean little β thin extended-hours tape exaggerates moves. Cross-check the news page for a real catalyst before assuming signal.
Gap-down
Avoid catching the first bounce. Extended-hours prints are indicative, not guaranteed fills β spreads are wide and size is thin.
