Tape "buy" = print at or above ask (aggressive buyer). "Sell" = print at or below bid (aggressive seller). Mid = in the spread, often negotiated.
Block & Sweep
Block = single large print at one venue. Sweep = same order split across exchanges to take liquidity. Sweeps especially urgent.
Cond Codes
FT = form-T (after hours). D = dark pool. OPEN/CLOSE = MOO/MOC. REG = regular way. Special codes can flag late-reported institutional flow.
